Beverly Cook, 55, of Waco passed away Sept. 26, 2011 at a Temple hospital with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 at Lakeshore Funeral Home. Burial will follow in China Spring Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday, Sept. 30 at the funeral home, 6-8 p.m.
Beverly was born Jan. 27, 1956 to H.B. and JoAnn Harcrow Jay in Waco, Texas. She married Mike Cook Sept. 30, 1978 and they were married 4 days short of 33 years when she passed away.
Beverly was a loving, unselfish woman who was loved by many. She would give to family or strangers without thought to herself. To the end she was a woman of courage and grace, never complaining, more concerned with her family than herself.
She was preceeded in death by her mother in 2004.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Cook of Waco; daughter, Ashley Cook; two sons, Michael Cook and Ty Jay; her father, H. B. Jay; two sisters, Carla Hines and Donna Yglecias; four grandchildren, T.J. & Tori Jay and Anthony & Angel Cramer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
