Boyd Daniel Merritt, 51, of Waco passed away Thursday December 26, 2013 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, December 30, at China Spring Cemetery with Pastors Steve Oates and Derek Cowan officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Pecan Grove Sunday Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr.

Boyd was preceded in death by his father Daniel O. Merritt and sister Shelley Merritt.

Boyd was a member of Grace Family Church in Hewitt.

Mr. Merritt is survived by sons, D.J. and Cory Merritt; daughters, Kindra Booker and husband, David, Malaney Shrum; mother, Lois Merritt; brother, Marty Merritt; sister, Lisa Powell; grandchildren, Colton and Addison.
