J. D. Hutto, 57, died in a Midland hospital early Saturday morning.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the China Spring Methodist Church, with Rev. Billy Mack Patterson officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Hutto was a native of China Spring and had lived in that area until he moved to Midland in 1917. He was an employee of Borden Milk.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Mrs. Roy Staggs of Midland; and one granddaughter.
