Mrs. Doyle (Lona B) Lawless Sr. of China Spring, died Friday at a local hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grace Temple Baptist Church in Waco, the Rev.  David Brown, the Rev. Paul Sadler, the Rev. Jack Ridlehoover, the Rev. Jeff Lethco and the Rev. Robert Shehane officiating.  Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Lawless was born and raised in Antlers, Okla., and graduated from Antlers High School.  She married Doyle K. Lawless Sr. on Jan. 11, 1942, in Antlers.  In 1963, she came to Waco, where her husband was pastor of Grace Temple Baptist Church for 23 years.  She was active as a Sunday School teacher and Women’s Missonary Union leader.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Doyle Lawless, Jr. of Waco and James Lawless of Robinson; one brother, James Duniho of Florida; and three grandchildren.

The family will be at 116 JoBetsy in China Spring.
