Jerelyn Faye Oxner, 56, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Jerry was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, and she was the only daughter of William Thomas Adams and Faye Lanell (Milford) Adams. Moving to Waco, Jerry graduated in 1973 from Richfield High School. She met her husband, Greg Oxner, and the couple were married June 28, 1976, by her father. In 1992, a son was born, Colton Oxner. Jerry loved being outdoors, caring for her yard, and particularly enjoyed gardening flowers. Jerry took pride in her home and loved to decorate inside and out. She enjoyed listening to country western and classic rock. Along with arts and crafts, Jerry enjoyed dove hunting, camping and fishing with her husband. She was especially fond of fishing trips where she could have friends and family over for a large fish fry. She was a member of Journey Christian Community and a member of the China Spring community for over 22 years.

Jerry was preceded in death by her father, William Thomas Adams.

Jerry leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Greg Oxner; son, Colton Oxner; mother, Lanell Adams; brothers, Dan Adams and Wesley Adams; sister-in-law, Sheryl Adams; niece, Shelby Adams; nephew, Westin Adams; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
