Mrs. Charlie Lee Peters, 61, of China Spring died Tuesday morning at a local hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Wilkirson and Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Mark Deering officiating.  Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Peters was born in Walnut Springs.  She came to China Spring as a child and attended school there.  She married William H. Peters of Houston in 1942.

She worked for the Waco Health Department as a lab technician for 18 years and then worked as a lab technician at the VA Hospital for another 18 years.  She retired in February, 1975.

She was a member of St. Louis Catholic church.

Survivors include her husband; one brother, Martin D. Eichelberger of 4808 Lockwood; and several nieces and nephews.
