Ona (Dedo) Robinson of Waco, formerly of China Spring, died Monday at her home.  She was 88.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, Chaplain Curtis Holland, the Rev. Paul Smith and the Rev. David Brown officiating.  Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Robinson was born September 24, 1903 at Rock Creek.  She attended school in Rock Creek, Patrick and China Spring.  She married Homer M. Robinson on Sept. 16, 1925, he died May 22, 1975.  She lived in China Spring until 1950, when she moved to Waco.  She worked for Crawford-Austin Manufacturing Co. and later for Cooper Grocery Co.  She was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church and active in the Naomi Sunday School Class.  A daughter, Lois Wade, and a son James Robinson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters,  Mrs. Paul (Pauline) Smith of Waco and Mrs. Howard (Margie) Nelson of China Spring; two sisters, Eula Severs of Waco and Annie Walker of Lindale; two brothers, Bob Wallace of Waco and Dan Wallace of China Spring, seven grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family will be at 2716 Pine in Waco.

Memorials may be made to Naomi Sunday School Class at Grace Temple Baptist church or to the Community Cancer Association.
