Carrie Belle Vidrine, 92, of Waco, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at Cole Funeral Home Chapel, 1113 West Fifth Street, McGregor with Bert Mercer officiating.  Interment will follow at China Spring Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Sunday at Cole Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vidrine was born Oct. 14, 1908, in Linn, Missouri, the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Mantel) Litton, where she attended school.  She married Kirby Lee Vidrine Nov. 10, 1940, in Phoenix, Ariz.  During the late 1930’s she was employed as a nurse in Phoenix for several years.  In 1970, she moved to Waco from Ozark, Missouri.  The lively Waco homemaker enjoyed cooking, politics and spending time with her cherished family.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Robert J. Vidrine and Jerry M. Vidrine  both of Waco, James E. Vidrine of Hewitt; a daughter, Patricia L. Talbert of Waco; a sister, Berdine Boss of Jefferson City, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jeremy Vidrine of West, Jennifer Talbert Guthrie of Muncie, Indiana and Carrie Talbert of Waco.
