Jimia Lee Ruff, age 75, of Waco died Monday in a local hospital.  Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 1o, 1996, at Park Lake Drive Baptist Church with Rev. David Shuttlesworth and Rev. Don Bearden officiating.  Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Ruff was born Sept. 22, 1921, near McGregor.  She was reared and educated in the Spring Valley and Lorena area.  She graduated from Lorena High School.  She married Gorden A. Schwartinsky in 1939.  She later married to Robert A. Wallace in 1979.  He died in 1994.  She married Ben Ruff in January 1995.  She was a homemaker and a member of Park Lake Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ben Ruff of Waco; two daughters, Pat Milsted and husband, Michael, of Austin, Darlene Vise and husband, Ted, of Waco; two sons, Alois G. Schwartinsky and wife Wynona of Liberty Hill, Ronald W. Schwartinsky and wife, Debra, of  Robinson; two step-daughters, Doris Bearden of China Spring, Pam Brown of Tennessee; two step-sons, David Wison of North Carolina, Danny Wallace of Granbury; three sisters, Louise White of Lorena, Mary Lois Leard of Terrell, Virginia Dean Wilson of Texas City; four brother, Arvis E. Walter, Cecil R. Walter, Billy Joe Walter and Louie L. Walter, all of McGregor; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 11 setp-grandchildren.

The family will be at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday for visitation.  Memorials may be made to Park Lake Drive Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Tommy Walter, Mitchell Walter, Michael Pollard, James Ray Melton, Darrin Bearden and Cecil Ray Walter.

Honorary pallbearers are Frank Dewayne Pollard, Mark Walter, Jeff Walter and Dennis Walter.
