George A. Withers, 72, of Valley Mills, died Tuesday, April 26th, 1988, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, at China Spring Cemetery, with Rev. Jeff Lethco officiating.

Survivors: wife, Lizzie Mae Withers of Valley Mills; one son George Thomas Withers of Weslaco; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Jo More of China Spring, Mrs. Linda Sue Payne of Plains, TX; two brothers, Charles Robert Withers of Harlingen, James Arthur Withers of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; four sisters, Sara Hampton, Betty Kutzenberger and Alice Bloom, all of Harlingen, Mary Wheatley of Mexico; three grandchildren.
