J. D. (Honey) Wolf, 74, of Waco, died Sunday in a local hospital.  He had been ill since 1952.

Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in China Spring Cemetery.  Rabbi Harold Friedman officiating.

Mr. Wolf was born in New York on Jan. 20, 1900.  He attended school there and moved to Waco in 1928.  In 1929, he married Miss Alma Lee French.  He was a member of the Plumbers Union,  Local 529.  He owned and operated the Air View General Store on Old Lake Waco.  Later, he moved to Valley View addition and owned and operated the Valley View waterworks.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. D. L. (Leah) Wolf Wiseman of Fremont, Calif.; a son, David L. Wolf of San Diego, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
