Mrs. Allie Mae Reid, 94, of Waco, died Sunday morning in a local nursing home.

Funeral services: 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Wilkirson Hatch Funeral Chapel, Rev. Nathan Booth and Rev. A.M. Stone officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Reid was born in Ada, Oklahoma where she began public schools. She completed her schooling in Parker County near Blooming Grove. She married William H. Reid in Gholson in 1904. They moved to China Spring and lived there until they moved to Waco in 1940.

Mrs. Reid was a member of the North Waco Baptist Church where she was a member of the Lydian Sunday School Class. She taught Sunday School at the church for several years.

Survivors: one daughter, Mrs. Louise Nolley of Tyler; four sons, Clarence A. Reid, J.B. Reid, W. T. Reid, all of Waco, and Virgil G. Reid of Brigham City, Utah.; one sister, Mrs. Mallissie Davenport of Weatherford, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren,  and two great-great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers: John Garrett, Gene Garrett, Bobby Garrett, James Reid, Gary Reid and Bill Reid.
