Funeral services for Tom Presnall, county treasurer, who died suddenly of heart failure at 9:30 a.m. Monday at his home at 1625 South Seventh street, were held Tuesday from Seventh and James Baptist church, Dr. W.W. Melton officiating. Burial in China Spring cemetery, Compton in charge.

Deacons of the Seventh and James Baptist church, of which he was a member, acted as pallbearers.

Surviving are his widow and three daughters, Mrs. Ruby DeHay of Dallas, Mrs. Edna Lane of Waco, Mrs. W.W. Smith of Waco, one brother, J.S. Presnall, Wills Point; and one sister, Mrs. Annie Wood, Hollywood, Calif.

Born in Clark County, Alabama, Mr. Presnall came to Texas when a young man and settled near Gholson. Later he moved to China Spring where he lived for a number of years. Fifteen years ago he moved to Waco. He was elected county treasurer in 1928 and was serving his second term when death overtook.
