Mrs. Cara McLennan Miller, 84, 6923 Sligh, Houston, Texas, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday at her residence.  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Connally Chapel, burial in China Spring Cemetery, Rev. H. L. Polinard will officiate.

Survivors: one daughter, Mrs. E. F. Lacy of Houston; one son, A. H. Miller Jr. of 1626 Washington; four sisters, Mrs. C. E. Gordon, Mrs. Verdi McLennan, Mrs. W. A.  Riley all of San Antonio, Mrs. Ira Armstrong of Lubbock; two grandsons, E. F. Lacy III, Andrew M. Lacy both of Houston; one grand-daughter, Mrs. S. T.  Kelm of Manhattan, Kan.; five great-grandchildren.
