Funeral services were held from the Baptist church at China Spring Wednesday at 4 p.m. for F. L. Kilpatrick, 74, a resident of the China Spring community for about 50 years, who died at a local sanitarium Tuesday at 4 pm. Rev. C. E. Roark officiated, interment was in China Spring Cemetery, Compton undertakers in charge.

Survivors are the widow; two sons, H.G. Kilpatrick of Memphis, TX, and J.B. Kilpatrick of China Spring; two daughters, Mrs. J. P. (Hattie Bell) Nail of China Spring and Mrs. R. E. Cass of Waco.

Pallbearers were Jack Ringer, J.D. Conger, J.F. Giddens, Bill Higgenbotham and T. N. Curton.
