Thomas Allen Holt, 79, of 1002 East Ninth Street died in a local hospital at 9:45 a.m. Saturday. He had been ill about three weeks.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Connally Chapel, Minister J. Wayne McCamey of McGregor officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Holt, a native of Jasper, Arkansas had lived in Waco 30 years. He was a road foreman for McLennan County for a number of years. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Annie Bell Holt; five daughters, Mrs. Eddie (Grace) Lane of Muleshoe, Mrs. Edna Stultz of Waco, Mrs. Melvin (Willie Mae) LeFevre of Waco, Mrs. William (Lorena) Hardy of Arlington and Mrs. Harold (Louise) White of Waco; two sons, Cyrus S. Holt and Joe D. Holt, both of Waco; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Wells of Rosenthal, Mrs. Margaret Seay of Fort Worth and Mrs. Julie Judkins of Valley Mills; two half-sisters, Mrs. Dora Strait and Mrs. Nora Glasgow, both of Waco; half-brother, Francis M. Holt of Lubbock; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
