Earl T. Anderson, Jr. 71, of China Spring went to be with the Lord Monday, September 15, 2003 at his residence.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday  September 18 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, Rev. Kevin Moore and Brother Bill Packer officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was born January 28, 1932 in Rule, Texas in Haskell County, to Earl T. Anderson, Sr and Nita Cloree Reed Anderson. He was reared and educated in McGregor and Hillsboro. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict serving three years in Germany.

He married Sue Wooten August 20, 1960 in Waco. He was employed at General Tires for 31 years and also involved in General Contracting for many years. Mr. Anderson was a member of First Baptist Church of China Spring, Northwest Waco Optimist Club, and Sul Ross Senior Club. He coached little league baseball, basketball and football. He was actively involved with his sons in the H.O.T. Kart Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Curtis Reed Anderson.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Anderson of China Spring; sons, Brian Earl Anderson of China Spring and Kevin Anderson of Fort Worth; two granddaughters; one sister.
