Nealie Adolph Buro, age 81, went to be with his Lord on July 31, 2005 at a local nursing facility. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 3 with Pastors Alton Ray, Mark Griffin and Michael Campbell officiating. Interment will be follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2.
Buddy was born Aug. 8, 1923 in Womack, Texas to Henry Fred and Emma Marie Conrad Buro. He lived most of his life in the China Spring area, and was a farmer and rancher. On June 18, 1955, he married Wanda Jean Ludwig.
His parents; a son, Robert John Buro; and a sister, Mable Weaver preceded him in death.
Survivors include his loving wife, Wanda of China Spring; daughter, Sandra Faye Pope and husband, Tim of Axtell; sons, Pastor Larry Wayne Buro and wife, Joyce, Jerry Fred Buro and wife, Donna, Ricky Neal Buro and wife, Ree, all of China Spring; sisters, Ruby Sutkowski, Virgie Ludwig, and Dorothy Ludwig all of Waco, Esther Ivy of China Spring; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim Pope, Jerry Buro, Jr., Michael Buro, Bobby Buro, Bradley Pope and Neal Pope. Honorary pallbearers will be Gabe Kerr and Todd Jenkins
