Mrs. Bill (Hazel) Butler, 76, of Waco died Friday at a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Nathan Booth officiating. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.
Mrs. Butler was born April 4, 1910 in China Spring, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. C.M. Cunningham. While attending high school in China Spring, she was a basketball player.
She married Claude C. (Bill) Butler on Aug. 18, 1928. They had been residents of Waco since 1930. She had been a member of North Waco Baptist Church for more than 50 years.
Survivors include her husband; daughter, Shirley Marie Braham of Arlington; two sons, Claude K. (Ted) Butler, Sr. and Robert Keith Butler, both of Waco; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
