Lillian graduated from Johnson’s Beauty School in 1945 and worked for 36 years as a hairdresser. She spent 30 of those years working for Pearl Landrum at Landrum’s Beauty Shop. When it closed in 1979, she moved around the corner to Lenial’s Beauty Shop for another year and a half, retiring in September 1980.
