Mrs. J. N. Chaffin, 91, of Waco died at 6:20 a.m. Monday in a local hospital. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Wilkirson and Hatch Chapel, Dr. Joseph W. Bailey and Dr. A. J. Holt officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Surviving: one daughter, Mrs. H. (Lillie) Miles; two granddaughters, Mrs. Lyndon L. Olson and Miss Rosemyrtle McLaughlin; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Euell Johnson, Keith Mulkey, B. C. Dosher, T. F. Lawson, W. C. Talbert and Alfred Davis.
