Forrest (Boodle) Cochran, 54, of Austin, who lived in Waco until seven years ago, died at 7:20 p.m. Saturday in the Marlin Veteran’s Hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services were held Monday at 4 p.m. in Wilkirson and Hatch Chapel, Rev. Magness
officiating. Burial in China Spring.
Mr. Cochran was born at Cottonwood in 1897. He lived in Waco before moving to Austin to become engaged in the restaurant business.
Survivors: his widow, Mrs. Fannie Mae Cochran; father, John Cochran of Fresno, Calif; one son, A.B. Cochran of China Spring; two daughters, Mrs. J.K. Bryant of Houston and Mrs. S.L. Kennedy of Leander; two brothers, A.S. Cochran of Axtell and W.T. Cochran of Waco; five grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Euell Rife and Owen Stefferr of Austin; John Dennison of Dallas, Ben Roberts of Gatesville and William Abney of Waco.
