Don R. Doss, 80, of Hewitt, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, November 16, at OakCrest Funeral Home, Waco. Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, November 17, at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow in China Spring Cemetery.

Don was born in Mosheim, Texas, to the late Harold and Oma Doss. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Don was a fire protection specialist for the National Sprinkler Association for many years. He especially enjoyed camping and fishing with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his step-daughters, Becky Murphy and Donna Polston; and granddaughter, Tina Dulock.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Rogers Doss; daughters: Donna Doss, Kathy Green, and Rhonda Crawford and husband, Randy; son, James Reynolds and wife, Roberta; grandchildren: Miranda Rodriguez and husband, Gus, Chris Doss, Kaylee Clinage, Ricky Cooper and wife, Natalie, John Green and wife, Stormie, Melissa Polston, and Jared Green and wife, Mary; and several great-grandchildren.
