Funeral services for A. M. Humberson, 60, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in China Spring Bapitst church.  Burial will be in China Spring cemetery.

Mr. Humberson, who was a China Spring resident and community leader for 47 years, died there at 4 p.m. Wednesday of a heart attack.  He was active in soil conservation work before district supervisor boards were set up; helped initiate the board here, and served as district supervisor from precinct 4.  He was a central Texas agricultural leader and was an ardent community project worker.

He served as agricultural representative on the wartime gasoline rationing board and figured prominently in Red Cross activities.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Virgie Humberson; two brothers, J. O. and A. P. of Huntsville; two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Thompson of Durango and Dr. Minnie Guyton of Phoenix, Ariz.
