Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Jay, 69 years of age, who died at her home at China Spring Thursday evening at 6′ o’clock will be held this afternoon at 4 o’clock from the First Methodist church of China Spring, with the Rev. Mack Smith officiating.  Arrangements will be in charge of Puckett and Son with interment at the China Spring cemetery.

Mrs. Jay was born in Georgia and moved to Texas 42 years ago, setting at China Spring.  She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. R. L. Crawford, Mrs. J. L. Hutto, Mrs. A. Chatman, of China Spring; Mrs. Sam Neeley, Mrs. E. W. Cannon, all of Waco; Mrs. Sam Brown of  Alto and Miss Salley Jay of China Spring; three sons, F. W., R. M.. and H. O., all of China Spring, and one sister, Mrs. John Buckner of Reedley, Calif.

Active pallbearers will be: Carl Crawford, Burnice Crawford, Walton Matthews, Lloyd Hutto, J. B. Hutto, and Alton Jay.

Honorary pallbearers are: Dr. H. R. Dudgeon, Dr. C. T. Caldwell, Dr. John Knight, P. B. Smith, W. A. Tatterson, J. F. Giddens, J. C. Nail and Frank Calloway.
