Billy Ray Kilgore, 41, of 1000  E. Walnut died Thursday afternoon as the result of a drowning accident in the Brazos River at Steinbeck Bend.

Funeral services: 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Connally-Compton Downtown Chapel with Rev. Richard Wells officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: Mother, Essie Mae Toon of Waco; 3 brothers, Leo Kilgore, Jr. of China Spring; Charles Kilgore of Italy, Tx and Lonnie Kilgore of Waco.
