Alva D. Mabray of 3227 MacArthur Drive died at 7:20 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the Wilkirson and Hatch Chapel with Rev. Herbert L. Polinard and Rev. Leonard Nansen officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter Mrs. Kenneth Easterwood, Jr. of Irving; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd L. (Mildred) Patton and Mrs. John D. (Helen) Browder, both of Conroe; three brothers, Paul Mabray of Kansas City, Mo., Arthur Mabray of Beeville, and  Tom C. Mabray of Houston; two grandchildren, Camille Easterwood and Reed Easterwood, both of Irving.

Active pallbearers: Otis T. Griffin of Dallas, Paul F. Dickard, John D. Mayfield III, coopr M. Lockridge, Lloyd L. Priest, Kenneth E. Easterwood, W. R. (Chile) White of Dallas and C. M. McMurtry.
