B. I. Maddux, 82, died at the Bosqueville home of his son, J. M. Maddux, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Methodist church at China Spring, Rev. Odell Jameson officiating.  Interment will be in China Spring Cemetery, with Compton in charge.

Mr. Maddux is survived by his wife and daughter and four sons.  The sons are: B. I. Maddux Jr.; and B. H. of Cameron; J. M. of Bosqueville and C. F. of Waco.

The daughters are: Mrs. Barton Duke of Eddy; Mrs. Roy (Attie Ione)  Garrett of China Spring; Mrs. Clarence (Juanita) Brooks, Waco; Mrs. Cecil (Lela)  Senn, Rockdale; Mrs. John (Mary E. )Bunt, Mrs. Charles Dockery, Mrs. Alex (Dora) Carpenter and Mrs. Joe Hawkins, all of Cameron.
