Allen Nelson, 75,of China Spring died Tuesday in a local hospital.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Connally Compton Downtown Chapel, Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. Curtis Holland officiating, with burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Nelson was a retired rancher.  He was born Dec. 16, 1900 in Leesville, La.  He was a member of the China Spring First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Howard E. Nelson of China Spring and Dr. Allen Nelson of Springdale, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Lois Smith of  3732 North Twenty-first, Mrs. Jean Balch of 4101 North Twenty-second and Mrs. Joyce Behringer of Valley Mills; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be at 4401 North Twenty-second.
