Funeral services for Eric B. Pierce, 42, of 1124 Hood Street, who died at a Waco hospital at 11.15 Tuesday, will be held from Clark’s drawing-room Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. Everett O’Dowd officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.  Surviving are his widow; two children, Christine and Lois Jean; his father K. O. Pierce of Waco; two brothers, L. H. Pierce of China Spring and H. G. Pierce of Waco; four sisters, Mrs. R. L. Talbert of China Spring, Mrs. W. J. Schott of South Bend, Ind; Mrs. Will Copeland of Waco and Mrs. J. E. Brooks of Abilene.

Pallbearers will be H. H. Grayson, Cecil Baine, Charlie Baker, Dr. Douglas Davis, Charles Purvis and J. O. Woodard.

Mr. Pierce had been a resident of Waco for 32 years and was engaged  in the automobile wrecking business at the time of his death.
