Mrs. Mary Viola Sawyer, 74, died at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at  her home, 1512 Windsor Avenue.  Funeral services will be held at the China Spring Methodist church at 3 p.m. Monday, Rev. J. V. Baird officiating, burial in the China Spring cemetery.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Eunice Robinson of Hereford, Mrs. Johnnie (Ducie)  Sharp of Waco, Mrs. George (Emma) Meadows of Waco, Mrs. L. M. (Nora)  Peters of Temple and Mrs. A. L.  Anderson of Brenham; three sons, C. G. Sawyer of Waco, J. H. Sawyer of Waco and Joe Sawyer of Valley Mills; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Sam Tolbert, Frank Ditto, W. T. Ditto, C. L. Hatfield, Elzie Null and George Layne.
