Funeral services for Mrs. Lura Seago of Hico were held at First Methodist church today, Rev. Norman Purvis and Rev. Tom Pratt officiated.  Burial was in China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Seago died in a Hico hospital after a long illness Tuesday.  She was 82.

She was mother of three Wacoans.

Mrs. Seago had lived in the Hico area many years and in Hico for 15 years.  She was widow of J. J. Seago.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. W. J. Crawford of Waco, Mrs. Eda Thompson of Fabens, Mrs. B. M. Pittman of Stephenville and Mrs. O. C. Duncan of Hico; four sons, J. D. Seago and Terry Seago of Hico, E. D. Seago of  Hico and Nelson Seago of Clarendon; one sister, Mrs. Jenny Cox of Denver, Colo.; one brother, H. D. Smith of Coahoma; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchldren.
