Owen W. Thomas, 86, of Valley Mills died Tuesday in  Clifton hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Valley Mills, Rev. Carl Jones and Rev. W. R. Palmer officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors are his wife Eva Thomas of Valley Mills; two sons Joe Thomas of Waco and Vernon Thomas of Georgia; one daughter Mrs. Janelle Stephens of Georgia; and one sister Mrs. Louise Pringle of Waco.
