Mr. Everette Melvin Toten, 91, of Rt. 10, Waco died Wednesday at his residence.

Funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Connally-Compton  Downtown Chapel with Rev. Richard Rust officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Nettie Lou Toten; Two daughters, Mrs. Lois Taylor of China Spring and Mrs. Faye Fieseler of Burleson; Two sisters; Four Brothers; Seven Granddaughters; Tanthea Edison, Cleta Tye, Sarah Fielding all of China Spring, Kay McPherson, Becky Dooley both of Glen Rose, Judy Armstrong of Plano and Sandra Gaston of Waco; Two Grandsons, Ralph Taylor of China Spring, Eugene Toten of Waco; 16 Great Grandchildren, One Great-Great Grandchild.

Active pallbearers: Dale McPherson, Roger Armstrong, Mike Dooley, Charles Edison, Johnnie Tye, Sonny Gaston
