Funeral services for E. L.(Frtiz) Wallis, 1234 North Sixteenth street, widely known Wacoan, who died Tuesday morning at 5:45 o’clock, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the home.

Mr. Wallis’ death was the result of complications following a fall ona slippery sidewalk at Fifth and Austin Avenue on Monday, Dec. 28, which fractured  his hip.  He had been in a hospital since the fall and some days ago trouble developed in his lungs, said to have been caused by injury to blood vessels.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joyce J. Wallis, and was born in Waco.  He was 43 years old, and excepting two brief periods in Dallas and Fort Worth, had spent his life in Waco.  Mr. Wallis had been in the typewriter business for many years here.

Services will be conductd by Rev. J. K. O’Herron, Dr. Arthur Stout and Rev. John W. Kerens of Austin.  Interment will be at China Spring cemetery.  Compton in charge.  Masons will conduct services at the grave.

Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Nancy Jane and Dorothy, and a brother, L. G. Wallis.

Pallbearers will be: Milton Mount, Guy R. Curtis of Dallas, J. W. Tinsley, W. H. Curry, A. J. Bush, W. L. Baine, W. L. Bacon and F. M. Towing.
