Minnie Joe Williams, 91, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 7, at China Spring Cemetery with Dr. David Hardage officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Connally/ Compton Funeral Directors.

Minnie Joe was born to Thomas Edgar and Maggie Thomas (Middleton) Goodwin June 15, 1915, in Ellis County, Texas. All her life she sewed for friends and family. Minnie had quite the knack for remembering each individual on their birthday with a card every year.

Preceding her in death were her husband, G. S. Williams; son, Larry Lynn Williams; brother, Thomas Edgar Goodwin; and sisters, Elizabeth Ray and Claudia Nixon.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Patsy Andrews and husband, Bill, of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Jessie Andrews, Lee Andrews and wife, Linda, and Debi Andrews, all of Corpus Christi, and Cheryl Andrews-Pollino and husband, Perry of Mentor, Ohio; three great-grandchildren; three
step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and two step-great-great-granddaughters.
