Tommy Gilliam, 20-month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilliam of Ozona, was choked to death on an apple core Sunday night while the family was visiting Mrs. Gilliam’s parents at China Spring.

Funeral services will be held in the China Spring Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Bill Liner Jr. officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Surviving besides the parents are the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Y Carpenter of China Spring; and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Gilliam of Trinidad.
