Mark Anthony Clifton, 51, of West, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Services will be private.

Mark was born on January 15, 1971. He worked for Tow King of Waco, before becoming disabled. Mark fought a valiant fight with diabetes and was brave, until the end. Mark enjoyed a very close relationship with his family, particularly, his mother, aunts and cousins. Mark had an easy-going, sweet disposition. The family fondly remembers the time that Mark and his cousin, Steve, snuck out of the house to go to 7-Eleven for a game of pinball, and Steve had to put a rope on Mark’s bicycle and pull him along.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Blassingame; stepfather, Tom Brock; aunts, Hayleene Saulters and Jan Burkitt.

He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Brock; son Tyler Clifton and daughter, Jillian Clifton.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Hillcrest Hospital, as well as Fresenius Kidney Care of Bellmead. A special thank you to his special friend, Amy Cavazos.

Mark will be greatly missed, but we know that he is free of pain and walking the golden-paved streets of Heaven.
